Ahmed reached out while he was in Bucharest after finding my work online. We met and walked through the city, letting things unfold naturally. I didn’t direct much. I was more interested in how he moved, paused, and reacted to the space. The portraits came out of those small moments. No production, just the city and what it gave us.
