Surreal Portrait Study with actress Ada Bicfalvi

This portrait study with actress Ada Bicfalvi is part of an ongoing body of work in which I collaborate with actors to explore perception, light and emotional presence. Created in Bucharest and photographed through glass, the images allow reflection, distortion and movement to shape the visual language.

Working primarily in black and white, the series moves away from conventional portrait clarity. Light softens contours and introduces tension between visibility and concealment. Rather than documenting identity, the work examines presence in transition.

These portraits treat the subject as psychological space. Expression remains internal and restrained, while surface and light create layered moments that feel suspended in time. The collaboration becomes less about performance and more about awareness.
